Job Description
M.J. Bale is looking for an experienced Store Business Manager to lead our concession within Myer Sydney.
Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile concession, build a strong team and develop a loyal client base.
Founded in Australia in 2009, M.J. Bale creates garments of integrity using quality natural fibres and expert craftsmanship. We’re a certified B Corp and Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket team, the Wallabies and the Socceroos.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the concession, leading from the floor and setting the standard for service, presentation and commercial results.
Your day will include:
Leading, coaching and developing the store team
Driving sales, individual targets and store KPIs
Building lasting relationships with new and returning customers
Providing expert advice on fit, styling and product
Managing rostering, stock, visual merchandising and daily operations
Maintaining a strong relationship with Myer management and stakeholders
Identifying opportunities to improve performance and grow the business
Creating a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You’ll bring:
Experience as a Store Manager, Store Business Manager or experienced Assistant Manager
A strong sales record and confidence working towards commercial targets
The ability to coach, motivate and hold a team accountable
A genuine interest in menswear, tailoring and personal style
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Flexibility to work across a seven-day retail roster
Experience in premium fashion, menswear, luxury or department-store retail will be highly regarded.
