Are you a passionate retail leader with a love for premium menswear, exceptional service, and building high-performing teams? M.J. Bale is looking for an experienced Store Business Manager to lead our David Jones Adelaide location and drive an outstanding client experience in one of Australia’s most iconic retail environments.

About the Role
As the Store Business Manager, you will take ownership of the store’s operations, team performance and client experience. You’ll lead from the front, creating a culture of excellence while delivering strong commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing retail team
Drive sales performance and exceed store KPIs
Deliver exceptional customer experiences aligned with the M.J. Bale brand
Build strong client relationships and foster repeat business
Maintain impeccable store presentation and VM standards
Manage rostering, team development and day-to-day store operations
Work collaboratively with David Jones stakeholders and internal teams
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Proven experience in a retail leadership role (Store Manager, Business Manager or similar)
Background in premium or fashion retail highly regarded
Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
A natural leader who motivates and develops teams
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Impeccable presentation and a strong sense of personal style
