Job Description
M.J. Bale is looking for a motivated and style-driven Casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our Rundle Mall team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a premium Australian menswear brand, helping customers look and feel their best while contributing to a high-performing retail environment.
The Opportunity
As a Casual Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated in-store experience while driving sales performance and supporting the team to achieve store targets.
Customer Experience & Sales
Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service in line with M.J. Bale standards
Build genuine connections and long-term relationships with clients
Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs including UPT and average transaction value
Demonstrate strong product knowledge across suits, tailoring, and casual collections
Confidently style customers for business, events and everyday wear
Store Operations & Presentation
Maintain high visual merchandising standards
Support stock management and replenishment
Ensure the store is well presented at all times
Assist with daily operational tasks and cash handling
Team Contribution
Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and team to drive performance
Contribute to a positive, energetic and results-focused culture
Support in-store events and promotional activity
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Previous retail or customer service experience (menswear or premium retail highly regarded)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for fashion, styling and delivering a premium customer experience
Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales
Well-presented, confident and professional
Flexible availability, including weekends and peak trade periods
