Job Description
M.J. Bale is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Store Business Manager to lead our David Jones Macarthur concession. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key concession location and play a pivotal role in delivering premium customer experiences and strong commercial results.
This role is ideal for a confident retail leader who thrives in a concession environment, enjoys leading from the floor, and is passionate about developing people and driving performance.
About the role
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing concession team
Drive sales, KPIs and commercial outcomes within the David Jones environment
Deliver an exceptional and consistent premium customer experience
Recruit, onboard and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline
Manage store operations including rosters, wage control and daily execution
Maintain strong visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
Partner closely with David Jones stakeholders and internal teams
Act as a brand ambassador for M.J. Bale at all times
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Proven experience as a Store Business Manager or Store Manager (fashion or premium retail preferred)
Strong people leadership capability with a coaching mindset
Commercially focused with a proven ability to drive results
Confident communicator who leads by example on the shop floor
Organised, resilient and comfortable in a concession or high-traffic environment
Flexible to work a rotating retail roster
