Job Description

M.J. Bale is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Store Business Manager to lead our Westfield Chatswood store — one of our key NSW locations.

This role is ideal for a confident retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves developing teams and knows how to deliver both strong commercial outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.

About the role

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing store team

  • Drive sales, KPIs and profitability in a high-volume retail environment

  • Deliver a premium and consistent customer experience

  • Recruit, onboard and develop talent to build a strong succession pipeline

  • Manage store operations including rosters, wages, stock and compliance

  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and brand standards

  • Act as a brand ambassador for M.J. Bale within the Westfield Chatswood centre

About you

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager / Store Business Manager in fashion or premium retail

  • Strong people leadership capability with a passion for coaching and development

  • Commercially focused with a track record of delivering results

  • Confident communicator who leads from the floor

  • Organised, resilient and comfortable in a high-volume trading environment

  • Flexible to work a rotating retail roster
