Job Description
We’re excited to be opening a brand new M.J. Bale store at Chatswood Chase, and we’re looking for an exceptional Store Business Manager to lead this opening and set the benchmark from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a new store, build your team from the ground up, and bring M.J. Bale’s premium menswear experience to life in one of Sydney’s most anticipated retail destinations.
About the role
Lead the end-to-end opening of a brand new store, including team recruitment and training
Build, coach and inspire a high-performing team culture from day one
Drive sales, KPIs and profitability through strong commercial leadership
Deliver an exceptional, premium customer experience aligned to brand standards
Take ownership of store operations including rosters, wages, stock and compliance
Ensure VM and store presentation standards are consistently upheld
Act as a brand ambassador for M.J. Bale within the Chatswood Chase centre
Develop internal talent and build a strong succession pipeline
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Proven experience as a Store Manager / Store Business Manager in fashion or premium retail
Strong people leader with a passion for developing and motivating teams
Commercially driven with a track record of delivering results
Confident communicator who leads from the floor
Highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
Excited by new store openings and building something from the ground up
Flexible to work a rotating retail roster
