Job Description
At M.J. Bale, our Assistant Store Business Managers play a critical role in driving performance, developing teams and delivering an exceptional customer experience. We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Assistant Store Business Manager to support the leadership of our Castle Towers store.
This role is ideal for an experienced retail leader or a high-performing senior team member ready to take the next step into leadership within a premium fashion environment.
About the role
Support the Store Business Manager in leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team
Drive sales, KPIs and commercial outcomes through strong floor leadership
Lead by example to deliver a premium and consistent customer experience
Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
Assist with roster management, wage control and daily store operations
Maintain visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
Support stock management, loss prevention and operational compliance
Step into the Store Business Manager role when required
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, 2IC or senior retail leader (fashion or premium retail preferred)
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate
Commercially focused with a passion for driving results
Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
Flexible to work a rotating retail roster, including weekends
