We are seeking a commercially driven and people-focused Store Business Manager to lead our Myer Perth City concession. This is a high-profile leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced department store environment and knows how to balance strong brand presence with operational excellence.
About the role
As Store Business Manager, you will have full accountability for the end-to-end performance of the concession, including sales, people leadership, and brand execution. You will lead from the floor, working closely with your team and Myer stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
Driving sales, KPIs, and commercial outcomes within a concession environment
Delivering a consistently premium customer experience aligned to the M.J. Bale brand
Managing rosters, wages, recruitment, onboarding, and performance
Ensuring VM, stock levels, and presentation meet brand and Myer standards
Building strong relationships with Myer management and stakeholders
Analysing sales data and implementing strategies to improve performance
Acting as a brand ambassador within a flagship CBD location
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You are an experienced retail leader with strong commercial acumen and a passion for developing people.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Store Manager or Business Manager in fashion retail
Experience working within a department store or concession environment (highly regarded)
Strong sales leadership and KPI management capability
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach and inspire teams
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A customer-first mindset with high attention to detail
Flexibility to work weekends, late nights, and peak trade periods
Experience in premium or menswear retail is advantageous but not essential.
