We are looking for an experienced and motivated 2IC / Assistant Store Business Manager to join our Claremont Quarter store. This role is ideal for a strong retail leader who enjoys coaching teams, driving sales, and supporting the Store Business Manager in running a high-performing store.
About the role
As the 2IC, you will work closely with the Store Business Manager to support the day-to-day operations, people leadership, and commercial performance of the store. You will step into leadership when required and play a key role in maintaining standards and driving results.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Store Business Manager with daily store operations
Leading by example on the shop floor and delivering premium customer service
Coaching and motivating the team to achieve sales and KPI targets
Acting as Manager-on-Duty when required
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
Assisting with rostering, wage control, and stock management
Ensuring visual merchandising and brand standards are upheld
Creating a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture

About you
You are a confident retail professional ready to step further into leadership.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience as a 2IC, Assistant Manager, or Senior Sales role in retail
Is commercially minded with a strong sales focus
Enjoys coaching and developing team members
Leads with confidence, empathy, and accountability
Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment
Has strong communication and organisational skills
Is flexible to work weekends, late nights, and peak trade periods
Experience in fashion or premium retail is highly regarded but not essential.
