Job Description
The Stock Controller at M.J. Bale plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the inventory of the company. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of the company's stock management system. Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of merchandise or materials.
Keep track of stock levels to ensure efficient inventory control.
Conduct regular stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies in stock levels or deliveries.
Implement and maintain best practices for stock management procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in handling and storing stock.
Main Tasks:
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and update stock records accordingly.
Organize and store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval.
Prepare orders for delivery or pick up according to demand or schedule requirements.
Monitor stock levels and generate reports on inventory status, including any shortages or overstock situations.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan future stock needs.
The Stock Controller will work closely with the warehouse team, procurement department, as well as other relevant stakeholders to maintain an efficient flow of goods while adhering to company policies and procedures. This role is pivotal in ensuring that M.J. Bale's operations run smoothly by effectively managing its inventory.
