As a Customer Experience Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued customers across multiple channels including phone, email, social media, and live chat. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring every customer interaction is seamless, positive, and aligned with the M.J. Bale standard of excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering an exceptional level of service across all customer communication touchpoints
Resolving product, delivery, or loyalty-related queries using tools like Zendesk, Shopify, Omneo, and AP21
Coordinating customer orders across platforms including Click & Collect, Ship from Store, and Myer Online
Escalating complaints or feedback where needed, while always acting with care and professionalism
Supporting the broader Retail, Online, and Marketing teams as needed
Assisting with styling and appointment enquiries, particularly for weddings and custom events
This is a casual position, ideal for someone with flexible availability and a passion for premium service.

Exceptional communication – both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Confidence using tools like Outlook, Excel, and customer service platforms (Zendesk, Shopify, etc.)
An interest in fashion and understanding of the ecommerce/retail landscape
Previous customer service experience (retail, ecommerce, hospitality or call centre) is highly desirable.
